How exchange betting works on esports
Esports matches are traded like any two-team market: back the team you expect to win the match, or lay the one you expect to lose. Map and round results move the price, so you can trade a series as it unfolds or take a position before it starts and cash out later.
Before you bet
Check the event name and format on the match page — best-of-one and best-of-three series behave very differently. Liability is shown before you confirm. Matches settle on the official result published by the tournament; postponements and technical restarts follow the sports rules.
Know the format
In a best-of-three, the team that loses the first map still has two chances, so its price usually drifts less than newcomers expect. Roster changes, map picks and recent results on the same patch all shape the market. If you are unsure, watch the opening map before you bet — in-play prices update between maps and rounds.
