Greyhounds on the AuraBet exchange

Short, fast races and markets all day — back or lay any trap at the exchange price.

How exchange betting works on greyhounds

Each greyhound race is a market of up to six or eight traps. Back a dog to win, or lay a dog you think will be beaten — perhaps a short-priced favourite from a poor draw. Because races are short and frequent, the betting window before each off is brief; set your stake and price, check the liability and confirm.

Settlement

Races settle on the official result. If a dog is withdrawn the market may be adjusted as described in the sports rules. The races listed here are the ones open now, so the page changes throughout the day.

Reading a greyhound market

Trap draw, early pace and the way a dog runs the bends matter more than in most racing. A dog that is quick away from an inside trap is often short-priced; laying one that has drawn wide against a fast railer is a common exchange angle. Keep stakes small on a busy card — races come round every few minutes.
